Attorney Profiles

Amanda G Bramble
Throughout my adolescent years, I lived abroad in several foreign countries, including the Philippines and Japan, as my father proudly served 22 years with the US Navy. Living abroad allowed me to live among diverse cultures, enhance interpersonal communication skills, and to broaden my life experiences. While living aboard Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan, I attended Nile C. Kinnick High School (which is also the high school Mark Hamil a.k.a. “Luke Skywalker” attended). After high school graduation, I boarded a plane in Tokyo bound for North Carolina while my parents remained behind in Japan.
Upon my return to North Carolina, I attended Meredith College in Raleigh where I majored in Political Studies with a concentration in Criminal Justice. While at Meredith, I served as a counselor to students who were charged with Honor Code violations and thereafter aided in each student’s presentation of the facts to the Honor Council. I also actively participated in the Alpha Lambda Delta and Kappa Nu Sigma honor societies. After four years of study, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Studies graduating as an Honors Scholar and Summa Cum Laude.
Following my college graduation, I moved from the bustling metropolis of Raleigh to the one stoplight town of Buies Creek to attend law school at Campbell University. After my first year of law school, I interned at the District Attorney’s office in Lee County for the 11th Prosecutorial District. I also worked as a research assistant to Professor Patrick K. Hetrick where I contributed to Webster’s on North Carolina Real Estate. During my second year of law school, I met my future husband, John, who was also amidst his law studies at North Carolina Central University. On Mother’s Day of 2005, I received my law degree Cum Laude with soon to be husband, parents, and grandmother watching.
Prior to our law school graduation, John and I decided to make Williamston our new home. After rigorous study during the summer of 2005, I learned I had passed the North Carolina Bar Exam on August 26th while moving into our new home in Williamston. In September of that same year, I began practicing law with Irvine Law Firm, PLLC. My practice is primarily concentrated in the areas of Family Law, Motor Vehicle Law, Estate Administration, Incompetency and Guardianship, and Criminal Defense.
In my leisure time, I enjoy traveling, returning to Sanford to visit with my family, and spending time with John and Hershey (my adored Chocolate Lab).
